7th Grade Parents and Guardians - IMPORTANT REMINDER

All students entering 7th Grade MUST have their Tdap immunization prior to receiving their schedule. It must be documented on an updated Florida Certification of Immunization (DH 680 form). This is a state of Florida immunization requirement. Any student arriving to school on the first day without their Tdap immunization will be sent home.

Meal Benefits Changes for the 2022-2023 School Year
Red Apple Dining would like update you about some important changes for the upcoming school year. The federal waiver allowing all students to eat breakfast and lunch at no charge, has expired. We encourage families who need assistance to complete an application for meal benefits. Free and reduced-price meal applications for the 2022-2023 school year are now available. Online applications can be completed on SCPSMealApp.com.
Families who have not applied for meal benefits for the 2022-2023 school year can expect to resume paying the full price for campus dining meals beginning August 10. The federal government requires an application to be completed each year to determine eligibility.

Skyward Family Access

Skyward is Seminole County's student information website that is available free-of-charge to all parents and legal guardians of students enrolled at Milwee. Skyward gives you access to your student's schedule, grades, missing assignments, attendance record, messages from teachers, and demographic information.
If you had Skyward access last year, your log-in remains the same. If you are new to Skyward, stop by Milwee's front office during regular business hours and present your picture I.D. to get your unique user name and password.

Making a Difference at Milwee
Dividends
The Dividends School Volunteer Program is a great way to make a difference at Milwee!
If you plan to volunteer this school year, be sure to fill out a Dividend Application. You must re-activate your application every year, even if you were approved in the past. Dividend applications are now open. Click here to apply and for more information. If you cannot register online, paper applications are available at any Seminole County school or at the Educational Support Center. PTSA
One of the best and easiest ways to support Milwee is to join the PTSA. Membership is only $5!
PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. The Milwee PTSA is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers made up of Milwee parents, teachers and students. Joining the PTSA helps both your student and Milwee by providing fun, educational programs and events throughout the year, supporting teachers with grants for educational materials and supplies, and giving our Milwee families a voice at the local, state, and national levels on issues important to children, school, and families. The SCPS Student Assignment and Program Access department provides school options, including magnet schools/programs, school transfer, virtual schools, and high school ePathways.
Milwee Middle School is a pre-engineering magnet school that offers challenging curriculum to all students. It's the only SCPS middle school to offer curriculum from Project Lead the Way, which engages students in hands-on, collaborative problem solving focused on real-world challenges. Milwee also offers a pre-IB preparatory program. Transportation is provided to all students who live more than 2 miles from Milwee.
If your family is already zoned for Milwee, based on your address, no application is needed to attend.
